How the journal works.

What the app does

Stoic Control Journal guides you through a four-step entry — write the worry, sort what is and is not in your control, name one next action, and close calmly. Entries are saved only on your device. An optional wellness tab can summarize selected Apple Health categories, with a clearly labeled sample preview when Apple Health is not connected.

Where are my entries?

On your device, in the app's private storage. There is no account and no cloud sync. Deleting the app deletes your entries, so keep a device backup if they matter to you.

Delete an entry

Open the entry from the Journal tab and choose Delete entry, or swipe left on it in the list.

Connect Apple Health (optional)

Open Settings inside the app and choose Connect Apple Health. Select the categories you want the wellness tab to read. Access is read-only.

Missing wellness data

Apple Health can return no value when a category has not been recorded, the device does not support it, or permission was not granted. The app displays No data instead of inventing a value.

Change permissions

Open the Health app, tap your profile, choose Apps and Services, select Stoic Control Journal, and change category access.

Is this a medical app?

No. Stoic Control Journal is for general reflection and wellness only. It does not diagnose, treat, or predict a medical condition.
